Issue Position

I oppose the Central Penn Pipeline proposed to cut through Lancaster County. I have been a leader on this issue, standing with our community from the beginning, and I will continue to be a leader on this issue which is one of the primary issues we face as a community.Pipelines and fracking are strongly related issues that have huge consequences for our community, our state and our nation. I will do everything in my power to stop the pipeline proposed to cut through Lancaster County, and I will be a leader on the issues of fracking and pipelines nationally.I cannot sit back and see our community hijacked by the gas industry and politicians, like my opponent, who enable them through loopholes and regulations which amount to sweeping government authority to trample individual rights for the benefit of large corporations. I pledge to stand with communities, individuals, families and landowners to protect our individual and property rights and defend our environment, health and safety.
